For those of us looking to buy some here are the details.
The company that owns Skittles, Wrigley, has made a deal with the Seattle Seahawks running back to release limited edition blue-and-green-only “Seattle Mix” Skittles. A few bags of the mix will be auctioned off along with some football-themed Skittles-covered items to benefit Lynch’s charity, the Fam 1st Family Foundation.
The online auction, which is being handled by eBay, will begin at midnight Pacific time on Wednesday, Jan. 29 and end at midnight Feb. 1.
Skittles will also donate $10,000 to the charity for every touchdown Lynch scores during the Super Bowl on Sunday.
You won’t be able to find the blue and green candies in stores, according to a tweet by Skittles, but the special mix will be available at “surprise events and locations.”
