Default Seattle Police To Dress As Rival Fans This Season

Be careful to not get too rowdy out there this year guys. The Seattle PD has decided to dress up as rival fans and arrest people that they percieve to be causing a problem with the banter.

Take it easy with your trash-talk at Seahawks games this season—that fan in the other team’s jersey might actually be an undercover cop.

That's a great idea. Should have been initiated in Oakland or Philly though.

Excellent idea. You can bet they will have to double up at the Niners game. It will be more than just "chippy" that day.

Too warm to wear their kevlar turtle necks to prevent bleeding.

    I'm all for this.

I'm also easily annoyed by the beer guzzling, insecure, overgrown children who need to derive self worth from the actions of millionaires while going out of their way to crap on those who just want to go and watch a game

Doesn't matter what color they are wearing

So that would also be my one caveat - put a couple in seahawks gear as well ..... bad behavior often spills over to all aspects

The NFL really wants to improve the game day experience, provide more comforts & replays, etc .... however, my #1 issues with football games isn't the lack of replay, lack of commentary, angles of view, bathroom lines, cost or any of that ..... it's the drunken idiots

Undercover and off duty are two different things.

Still those off duty guys are idiots...but I don't think you have to worry about the same type of crap from the undercover cops.

I love the idea. I see stupid crap just about every game It's usually just some guys who drank too much, but it's embarrassing and there are kids at the game.

against it. While I know its for the greater good. I just hate shady cop crap. Why not have them stand all around in uniform instead? Now I have to wonder if the 9er fan I'm talking to is lying his ass off making me look stupid as I fall for his act. The old here's a cookie jar stick your hand in so we can catch you drives me crazy. In this setting cops are kind of like dogs to me as well, if they get a scent they dont like they can inspire further transgressions rooting it out. They have a covert purpose there to find bad guys. No one likes to feel useless so they'll find them.
